La nueva recopilación de Madonna, Celebration, entra directa al #1 en la lista oficial de álbumes y de esta forma iguala el récord de Elvis Presley con 11 álbumes #1 en la lista británica, ha revelado hoy The Official Charts Company.Esta semana en el apartado de Singles en U.K. baja del nº3 al nº8

Ningún otro artista solista puede igualar este logro. Sólo The Beatles, con un total de 15 álbumes #1 superan este récord.

Este logro marca otro récord para Madonna, la artista solista femenina más exitosa de todos los tiempos. Ella también ha logrado:

- Pasar más semanas (29) como #1 en la lista oficial de álbumes del Reino Unido, más que ninguna otra artista femenina solista.

- Tener más #1 en la lista de singles británica (13), más que cualquier otra artista solista femenina.

- Conseguir hacer doblete con #1s directos en álbumes y singles (4 veces), más que cualquier otra artista solista femenina.

- La gira más exitosa en cuanto a recaudación de la historia para una artista femenina, su reciente Sticky & Sweet Tour.
